229-1262. Central of Georgia Railway Company, Report. Prepared by the Reconstruction Finance Corporation, Railroad Division, Washington, D.C. Dated 22 May 1935. 14" x 8.5", 74 pages, typed. Signed by each of the four Examiners. + Appendices Nos. 1 to 14, containing 31 pages, typed, 24 of which foldout, and 8 large folding Charts, all printed, + Schedules A to Q, containing 17 pages, typed, 3 of which fold out. All of this is still held in the original light card folder with printed label on cover and a printed system map of the railway pasted on inside front cover. The Report gives the result of a fully detailed investigation into the assets, plant, equipment, maintenance, traffic, holdings, receipts and finances of the Central of Georgia Railway Company. The findings are laid out in a completely itemised way that is explicit and all embracing. A wealth of information. This came sometime from the archive of the "Railway Research Service", London. It is complete as called for, without damage and in generally fine condition.
