The original drawings were all made in the nineteenth century. 12" x 25", these are Office Register copies, company prints. To a scale of 1/4" to one foot. Showing a semi-detailed side and external view and an interior plan, with major dimensions, weight and brief notes. This is a six wheel carriage with 5 Third compartments and 50 seats. This and those following are rubber stamped "B.R. L.M.R. Drawing Office, Derby." and dated 1950s, all are rolled and in very fine condition.

This and those following were all built during the nineteenth century. 12.5" x 25.5", company print, to a scale of 1/4" to one foot. Showing a semi-detailed side and end elevation and an internal plan view. With major dimensions and notes. This is an eight wheeled carriage with through corridor connections, 8 third compartments and 2 lavatories. Excellent history. This and those following are rolled and in generally very fine condition.

A serious happening, an express passenger train collided with the jib of a contractor's mobile crane and became derailed, another passenger train also became damaged. Generally very fine condition.

This is an excellent series of books, very informative with first class pictures and the considerable use of Ordnance Survey maps. Very fine condition.

The well known photographer has revised nearly 300 various locations in England that were once served by London Midland and Scottish Railway trains and compiled this most interesting pictorial account of what the particular site once looked like and how it is in the nineteen-nineties. Near mint condition.

Pocket Public Timetable. 4.75" x 3", paper cover. 64 pages with times and information on 13 Scotch (sic) Railways, 4 English Railways, various Mail Coaches, Omnibuses, Canal and Steamboat services within Scotland and in connection with Scotland. Much detail is given including fares and charges. There is also a number of excellent advertisements many of which are transport related and have nice vignette drawings, most of these being for steam ship companies. Very delightful, it is over 158 years since it was produced and is still in generally very fine condition.
