Derby, Carriage & Wagon Department, Drawing Office Copy. 12" x 25". company print to a scale of 4 feet to one inch, showing a semi-detailed side and end view exterior elevation, and an interior plan, with brief notes. This is eight wheeled with through train connections, to seat 6 first class and 24 third class, with lavatory and brake compartment. These are all stock built in the nineteenth century, each printing is rubber stamped "B.R. Derby Drawing Office", and dated 1957. All are rolled and in very fine condition.

Noted for model engineering in general, with much on live steam and railway locomotive design and building in gauges from 2" to 7", with some interesting aspects on prototype railway matters. A pleasing set in generally fine condition.

235-0411. Nitrate Corporation of Chile. (Compania de Salitre de Chile). Temporary Certificate, for One Series B Ordinary Share of par value 100 Chilean Pasos per share. Issued July 1931. 8" x 11.5, black & orange on white, 2 sides. Engraved by the Republic Bank Note Co. Pittsburgh, Pa. The Nitrate Company was newly formed at this time and came to own and operate extensive railways in connection with their interest. Signed by all parties. Seemingly not cancelled. A good item in fine condition.

A detailed account of train working over the Euston to Glasgow main line. This is seemingly not in Ottley but it should be noted that this author has a different book with a quite similar title. Very fine condition.

Giving an historical description of railways in the various countries. A very good reference. The book is in very fine condition.

235-0419. The North British Locomotive Co., Ltd. Bombay, Baroda and Central India Railway. 0-6-0 Type Locomotive No. 431. Photogravure Picture 6" x 9", tipped onto substantial paper 7.75" x 10.75", with printed title and specifications below, blank verso. Thought to be a supplement plate from "The Locomotive Magazine", maybe circa 1920s - 1930s. These all show the engine and six wheel tender posed left side as newly built by The North British Company and painted in lined photographers grey. Excellent history. All of the pictures are in superb very fine condition, the backing papers have slight foxing but otherwise are in fine condition.
