Sheet 12. Edition 2-GSGS. 30 x 35.5, fully detailed colour map on substantial paper, to a scale of four miles to one inch. This is the regular Ordnance Survey Map showing railways, stations, roads, towns, heights of ground and all usual features but is overprinted with the positions of all Aerodromes, including disused; Heliports, overhead power transmission lines, and high obstructions, etcetera. Nice clear maps, the railways are particularly outstanding. Most interesting, note that controlled airspace is not shown on these charts. This and that following are folded and in very fine condition.

Published variously in loose sets of several different locomotive illustrations and as single plates, circa 1897-1901. Lithographed by Alf Cooke, Leeds. This has the plate laid down on a backing board and fixed with a picture mat for fitment into a glazed frame. Picture size 5.5 x 14.5, overall size 10.5 x 19.5. Showing the 4-2-2 express engine and six wheel tender in a left side view, a most attractive picture. Very much suited for display. Now hard to come by. The illustration is bright and clean, all is in very fine condition.
