One snippet states "The sounding of locomotive whistles on trains passing Elk County Home, especially at night, greatly excites and aggravates the insane patients, much to the annoyance of the attendants .....etc." A first class item for this railway. 238-2189. Polish State Railway, 4-8-0 Passenger Locomotive and 8 wheel tender, class Os. 24. Colour Picture Postcard. By ANCZYC, Nakladem Fabryki Lokomotyw w Chrzanowie. Probably about 1950. Polish text. 3.25" x 5.5". The fine looking locomotive was built by the P.K.P. at the first locomotive works to be established in Poland in 1920. The card has not been posted but has various notes written in ink on both sides regarding the locomotive. It shows signs of use but is none-the-less very collectable.
