246-2222. The River Dee, Plans and Section, shewing the Proposed Improvements by Henry Robertson. November 1849. Printed Title sheet + Plan Drawing on three sheets + Section Drawing on one sheet. Each sheet 22" x 30" approximately, on heavy paper. lithographed by Maclure, Macdonald & Macgregor, of Liverpool to a scale of 20 chains to one inch. Showing parts of the river with existing structures on the banks and adjacent to the water in detail, including part of the course of the Chester and Holyhead Railway. From the station at Chester, where there is a junction with the Shrewsbury and Chester Railway, through Connah's Quay, Rockfield Hall, Flint, Greenfield, Mostyn, and towards Talacre. This line eventually became part of the London & North Western Railway. These are original printings. Excellent history. A few small splits have been repaired with patches stuck to the verso but it has survived well, all is quite clean and clear. We will send it rolled.
