247-2421. Chemins de Fer de l'Etat Belge. Type 23. 0-8-0 Tank Locomotive, built 1904-1908. General Arrangement Drawing, No. CE371. All of the original drawings are by "JA", this dated 16-7-1908. All are taken from official sources, publisher anonymous. 5.75" x 8.5", to one-hundredth scale, white on blue print, circa 1908. Showing a fully detailed side elevation external view, with major dimensions, weights and brief specifications. Text in French. This is an extremely informative series of drawings, draughted in a fine style, that makes an important historic record of the locomotives of the period. All of these in very fine condition.

Issued to Matthew Pettigrew Esquire of Glasgow for one thousand five hundred pounds of Stock in 1880. Sealed and signed. 5.75" x 8.75". Engraved on paper which has been laid down on more recent cartridge paper at some time, to preserve this very scarce piece. "Cancelled" by rubber stamping. While having regard to that above it is in generally fine condition.

Showing the 4-6-0 engine and eight wheeled tender posed on a roundhouse turntable with crew in attendance. It is laid down on card 8" x 20". Although not marked as such this came sometime from the archives of E .L. Ahrons, the locomotive engineer.

247-2449. The Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Rail Road Company. Certificate of One Hundred Shares of Capital Stock, of Fifty Dollars each. Issued in 1955, signed by all concerned and impressed with the company Seal. 7.75" x 11", 2 sides. Engraved in an ornate brown and black on white quality paper by the "American Bank Note company." Incorporating a three-piece vignette showing a 4-4-0 steam locomotive and eight wheel tender; three miners working underground; the surface buildings of a large mint. Cancelled by a perforated punch line in 1960 and holes punched through the signatures. Superb. Very fine condition.

A quality technical magazine concerned with all aspects of design and construction of electric railways and electric motive power, mostly German, Austrian and Swiss, but some is on the railways and practice of other countries. This year is seldom to be found on offer. With the bookplate of F. J. Haut. The pages of the June and July issue have a damp stain on the lower half that was apparently incurred before binding, otherwise very fine condition.
